The family of the late eminent jurist and former Supreme Court Justice Obakayode Eso who died on November 16 in Hammer smith Hospital, London, yesterday, announced the burial programme of the late jurist.
He is to be buried on Friday, December 21 in Ilesa, Osun State after a funeral service at the Cathedral Church of Holy Trinity, Omofe, Ilesa.
A statement by Mrs. Funmilayo Eso Williams for the family, entitled: Re- Burial Ceremony of the Hon. Justice Kayode Eso JSC, said “service of songs will take place at his residence, Green acres Agodi, Ikolaba, Ibadan on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 5.00pm.
On Tuesday, December 18 2012, there will be another Service of Songs at the same place by 5.00 pm while it will be the turn of Bodija International School, Tunde Lakanmi, Bodija,Ibadan for another Service of Songs on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 5.00pm.
“Christian wake keep will hold at the Anglican Church of the Risen Christ and at His Residence Oke Omi Iru,Osogbo Road, Ilesa on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 5.00pm.
“Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Cathedral Church of Holy Trinity Omofe, Ilesa at 10.00am. Outing Service will take place on December 23 at the Anglican Church of the Risen Christ, Oke Omi Iru,Osogbo Road, Ilesa at 10,00am.”
Justice Eso is survived by his widow, Mrs. Helen Aina Eso, Mrs. Funmilayo Eso William, Olumide Eso, children as well as grandchildren.
